On behalf of the conference organising committee, we invite you to participate in the 35th Australasian Association for Engineering Education Annual Conference. The conference will be hosted by Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha |University of Canterbury, with the support of Ara Institute of Canterbury (Ara) from Sunday 8th to Wednesday 11th December 2024. The title of the conference is “The Engineer and The World”, reflects the International Engineering Alliance’s recognition of the need for future engineers to advance the achievement and sustainment of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). AAEE 2024 will catalyse and inform future innovation and research on integrating more sustainability into engineering education.
Authors in all areas of engineering education are invited to submit abstracts for a conference paper, with a particular emphasis on the following topics:
- Innovative pedagogy
- Learner perspectives
- Graduate outcomes
- Community and industry needs
Authors are encouraged to identify alignment with the UN SDGs.
The due date to submit the Abstracts has been extended to Sunday 21 April (11:59 pm NZT).
Although we encourage all authors to submit an abstract, if you are unable to meet the submission deadline, full papers can be submitted without an associated abstract submission.
The call for full papers and expressions of interests for workshops will open at a later date.
